Stress Management & Recovery

Overview

Sleep should be considered number one to help regulate stress and help our bodies recover from many circumstances during waking hours. Lack of sleep can disturb our circadian rhythm not allowing for good recovery.

Sleep trackers and other decodes like ŌURA ring technology can help track this. Avoid eating at least 3-4 hours before sleep especially heavy meals is this slows digestion making sleep difficult from stable insulin regulation. Certain light exposer can negatively effect sleep such as blue light from TV screens , mobile device screens, even led lighting in your home.

Photo receptors in the eyes pick up this light and reduce the amount of melatonin your body needs to help sleep. EMF exposer is something overlooked, this also can have a negative effect as high levels of magnetic waves are stimulating our senses. These all things to look at and be aware of.
