The breath is how we live. All we need to really know is that the conscious use of the breath can make a profound difference to your energy levels, health and performance.

When you consciously breathe in a specific way it can reduce sympathetic over arousal. It triggers the parasympathetic nervous system, increases oxygenation. When you use your breath skill, it's much more easier to focus your attention.

Most people over breathe also known as chronic hyperventilating breathing with their mouth rather than their nose. The key is to learn how to breathe skillfully. The breath is something that's so automatic to us. Simply thinking of our breathe is a focus for simple meditation practice. Most people breath unconsciously sporadic that reflects our emotional state.

Wim Hof Breathing Techniques

The Wim Hof Method is similar to Tummo (inner heat) Meditation and Pranayama (yogic breathing). Yet it is something else entirely.
